Program Director, Environmental Technologies, SBIR/STTR at National Science Foundation
Rajesh Mehta, Ph.D., is a Program Director in the Small Business Innovation Research Program at the U. S. National Science Foundation. He currently manages its Environmental Technologies portfolio consisting of close to 100 science- & engineering-based technology start-ups addressing various environmental challenges. Since joining NSF in 2012, he has made close to 450 awards mostly to start-ups. A chemical engineering graduate of IIT-Bombay, he has advanced degrees from Penn State, RIT, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Imperial College. Prior to joining NSF, he was with Kodak for over 25 years.
